Eli Schneider is a Professional Engineer with over 20 years of experience in design and construction support of commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.

Before founding Forward Engineering, Eli worked his way up from engineer to project manager and then executive vice president / branch manager over his 17 years at GPI, Inc, and founded MEY Associates, the forerunner of Forward Engineering, LLC.

In addition to Eli’s management and leadership responsibilities, he is actively involved in many projects as Principal-in-Charge. He ensures the implementation of quality assurance standards and monitors project scope, budget, and schedule progression.

Eli gets a thrill from engaging and challenging his design team to develop value-based solutions that exceed client expectations.

Yasmin Marasia is an architect with over 15 years of experience designing educational, commercial, Institutional, and healthcare facilities in the New York metropolitan region.

Yasmin’s experience includes projects involving adaptive reuse and renovation and rehabilitation of interior spaces. She’s worked on many projects focused on building envelope, roofing systems, and structural rehabilitation.
With her outstanding proficiency in codes and standards, Yasmin performs code reviews on projects of all types.

Before joining Forward Engineering, Yasmin worked as an architect at GPI.

Chemmie Sokolic is a leader in the commercial and industrial real estate due diligence field who, with more than 22 years’ experience in the environmental and engineering consulting industry, provides expert real estate due diligence services by evaluating current and past property uses and conditions, and identifying potential risks, liabilities, and constraints associated with the property’s current and potential future uses.

Chemmie is an active member of the ASTM Committee E50 on Environmental Assessment, Risk Management, and Corrective Action – including the E1527 and E2247 Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Task Groups – was the final editor of the E1527-21 Phase I standard, and is an approved ASTM Instructor.

Chemmie also has extensive knowledge of New Jersey state environmental requirements, and for many years has been a frequent accredited course instructor at established industry organizations including the New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional Association (LSRPA) and Continuing Professional Education Services (CPES).

Chemmie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, a Master’s degree in Environmental Management and Water Resources, and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree with a Real Estate concentration. Chemmie is also a New Jersey-licensed Real Estate Salesperson

Bonnie Sheer is a Senior Plumbing/Fire protection engineer with over 30 years of experience in commercial, industrial, multi-family residential, high-end condos, affordable housing, mixed use buildings and educational facilities.

She also has experience as a project manager for MEP and utility projects, having been trained by Con Edison and functioning in that role for multiple years. Her experience includes broad design of various plumbing and fire protection systems, extensive knowledge of permitting processes and relationships with agencies such as NYC Department of Buildings, NYC Department of Environmental Protection and NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. She also has coordinated with various local municipalities around NYS and NJ.
